More Dell Mini Driver Updates
There is a heap more updated drivers on the Dell website. Ethernet, Bluetooth, card reader, & audio drivers have all been updated on the 23rd. I’m currently downloading the new drivers. I’ll update the post once its all done.
Edit:
Everything installed ok. I can’t see any new features. There is no problems that I can see nothing is slowed down etc. Still wish Dell would fix the missing remaining time from the battery.

Book Binders
Most won’t know I work for one of the largest printing company’s in Australia. Work recently worked out the area that I work in (Digital) is the way of the future. Most of the stuff I was working with was from 1995. We now have started on upgrading the area. We have new digital presses from OCE. Now we are waiting on some new machines for our binding line. We used to have and old Mini Binder (I can’t remember the model number) but I was old. The only thing remotely digital on it was the LCD counter the rest had to be manually setup. A usual job would take 20-30 minutes to setup.
We have the new Guillotine and Binder unit. Which is all computer controlled. Once its all setup and running. All I’ll have to do is open the job and the server will setup each machine. But at the moment we are still setting it up so to run a job it has to be manually setup each machine. Even that is so much faster and easier then the old machines talking about 5-10 minutes setup. We are still also waiting on the final 3 trim unit to turn up and an unwinder so we can use a reel on a digital press instead of just being sheet fed.
The speed of all these machines is amazing compared to our old digital stuff. Plus the quality is a big step up also. I’m glad the company has decided to use some if its profit in our area. It was starting to get behind the rest of the world. Now its on par again
I think we also have plans to pick up a colour digital press sometime as well.
